Chief Information & Digital Officer

Javier Polit is the executive leader of Mondelēz Digital Services and serves as the Chief Information & Digital Officer of Mondelēz International, a global snacking leader with 2022 net revenues of approximately $31 billion driven by iconic brands such as Oreo, Ritz, LU, Clif Bar and Tate's Bake Shop biscuits and baked snacks, and well as Cadbury Dairy Milk, Milka and Toblerone chocolate. As part of the executive leadership team, he plans and executes the global digital strategy and is responsible for all business and technology systems and infrastructure worldwide.

Prior to joining Mondelēz International in 2020, Javier was the Chief Information Officer for The Procter & Gamble Company. He also served as Group Chief Information Officer for The Coca-Cola Company Bottling Investments Group and Chief Information Officer of North America. He also held roles as Global Director Customer Solutions and Director of Business Intelligence and Distribution Systems for The Coca-Cola Company. He was the Vice President of Global Corporate Systems and M&A integrations for Office Depot and Vice President Information Technology for NationsBank NA. He commenced his career with Coopers and Lybrand.

Today Javier serves on the board of directors of Quickabase (a Vista Equity portfolio company) and Forward Air. He also serves on the board of Girls Who Code, a nonprofit supporting girls in the study of STEM. Javier gives time to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital professional advisory board and the University of Miami President’s advisory board.

In 2022 Javier was recognized on the Forbes CIO Next List. He has also been named a Top 25 Corporate Elite by Hispanic Business Magazine and earned the Top 100 IT Leader distinction from Hispanic IT Executive Council. He was a Premier 100 Honoree of Computerworld in 2016. An advocate of lifelong learning, Javier earned an Honorary PhD in Humane Letters from Quinnipiac University in 2019.

Javier is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He has a Master’s of Business Administration from Purdue University, a Master’s of International Management from Budapest University of Economics, a Master’s in International Business Management from Tilburg University, a Master’s in Computer Science from Barry University, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Miami.
