What early careers scheme did you join?
I was fortunate enough to join MDLZ on their 2023-2024 Internship programme as a Marketing Intern within the Christmas and Halloween team.
What is the most exciting project that you have worked on?
Without a doubt, the most exciting project I've been part of is the 2023 Cadbury Secret Santa Christmas Campaign. I had the opportunity to dive right into the initial strategic and creative responses, all the way through to the final execution, campaign tracking and analysis. In short, the campaign allowed 120,000 free bars of chocolate to be claimed across the country through QR codes on digital OOH poster sites spreading Cadbury generosity and festive cheer. It was amazing to contribute to such a massive campaign and engage with various channel touchpoints. Additionally, it allowed me to build on my cross-agency relations by maintaining close contact with our strategic, creative, PR, social, and media agencies to ensure a streamlined execution.
Can you give us an example of how you stepped outside your comfort-zone in this role?
An example of stepping outside my comfort zone was when I presented part of our Christmas brand plans at our 2024 Winter Show. Previously, I had not presented in front of a large audience before, so standing on stage with a microphone and 250 people in the audience was a nerve-wracking but rewarding experience. This boosted my confidence and inspired me to take on more leadership roles, such as representing the brand team in various customer shows and taking on the role of leading the Christmas PR brief for Christmas 2024.
How would you describe the work culture at Mondelēz International and within your function?

Within my function, there's a strong emphasis on team wellbeing and trust, providing an environment of open communication and shared values. What is your favourite MDLZ brand?
My all-time favourite MDLZ brand is Cadbury Fingers, and more recently, I've loved their 'Fingers Crossed' on-pack promo campaign, adding a fun and playful twist to this beloved childhood favourite.
