Tell us about yourself and your role at Mondelēz International.

My name is Nikoleta Csíková, and I´m the Planning and Replenishment Team Lead in Kostolné Kračany. I´m responsible for leading and supporting the Planning and Replenishment Teams and for part of the logistics department as well.

How would you describe your career path?

During my university years, I aspired to become a teacher, and initially, I pursued studies in German and History. However, my interests later shifted towards economics, leading me to earn a master’s degree in accounting and management. My career has been dynamic and diverse, encompassing assistant and customer service specialist roles. Before focusing on production planning, I gained experience as an accountant. I then spent 2 years in production planning before stepping into my current role as a team leader.

I am deeply grateful to all my managers for the invaluable guidance and lessons that have shaped my professional journey. Without their support, I wouldn´t be where I am today.

What does career development and learning, mean for you at Mondelēz?

Career development and learning is very important to me, as I’m always looking for ways to challenge myself and grow. At Mondelēz I’ve had the opportunity to be part of strategic business projects, which is something I haven’t experienced at other FMCG companies.

The team at Kostolné Kračany is driven by a strong commitment to achieving goals and continuous improvement. This dynamic environment keeps our team motivated and focused on delivering excellence. As the organization values diversity, our team is diverse as well. Colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, which fosters openness, collaboration, and innovative thinking. Thanks to these values, the team can adapt to challenges.

How would you describe the manufacturing/logistics /production world?

The manufacturing, logistics, and production world is a fast-paced and complex ecosystem that revolves around precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement. It´s a blend of physical processes, technology, and human expertise where raw materials are transformed into finished goods and delivered to consumers or businesses in the most cost-effective way possible. During my practice, I also learned that this world is about problem-solving and adaptation. We must find ways to produce and move goods efficiently while staying competitive in a constantly evolving landscape.
