What does a Product Change Manager do?
As a Product Change Manager, I oversee multiple projects simultaneously for some of our most exciting and iconic brands, such as Milka, Fonzies, and Grenade. My role is to lead cross-functional teams and ensure the successful execution of each project. I also manage various business initiatives, such as product innovation, packaging changes, or limited editions. My responsibilities cover the entire project lifecycle - from initial planning and concept development to implementation and final launch.
How do you manage work and life to find a space for your hobby?
My role offers flexible working hours, which is a fantastic benefit. It allows me to manage my time more effectively, balancing my work and personal interests. This flexibility helps me stay focused on my projects while still making room for my hobbies or taking on additional initiatives at work, such as designing presentations or creating videos to promote the Product Change Management roles.
What do you do in your free time?
It depends on the weather. In the summer, I love biking and spending time outdoors. When the weather gets colder, I enjoy indoor activities like crocheting and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. It’s a great way to unwind and recharge.
Why do you enjoy being an MDLZ advocate?
I enjoy being an advocate! Participating in activities outside of my regular job scope gives me the opportunity to meet new people and contribute to something valuable for the organization. Creating the videos was a lot of fun, as it allowed us to showcase our work and our teams, giving others a glimpse into what we do behind the scenes.
Do you feel that using your hobby at work is valuable and fun?
Absolutely! One of my work-related hobbies is PowerPoint (as funny as it might sound). I enjoy designing slides and exploring features that make presentations engaging and easily read. I seized the opportunity to apply my PowerPoint skills by developing internal training, revising our training materials on various processes, and creating numerous templates. I’m proud to be recognized as the go-to PowerPoint guide, and while it didn’t emerge from a specific need, my contributions have proven valuable for the team. I’m happy that I could integrate this hobby into my daily work.
