My name is Zuzanna, and I am an HR professional with over ten years of experience. I joined MDLZ as a People Lead in January 2024, and before that, I worked in the airline industry in the European Customer Contact Centre.

How is it working at MDLZ?

I must admit that time flies so fast… I don’t even know when the last six months passed. I can say my onboarding journey has been amazing. I was surprised to receive such a warm and pleasant welcome from both the local team and the remote stakeholders with whom I am collaborating.

I had a chance to connect with many amazing people, and they have one thing in common: a passion for what they do, which was very visible and inspiring to observe. A special ‘THANK YOU’ goes to Waldek Pitala, Senior Technician, who showed me our Pilot Plant and told me very interestingly about his daily work. It was an extremely valuable experience.

I would also like to thank the DEI team for warmly welcoming me into their group and for giving me the opportunity to collaborate on planning Women’s Day. It strengthened my sense of belonging to our Company.

Was there anything that surprised you in your onboarding journey?

It wasn’t a surprise to me, but it was very nice that all the people engaged in my onboarding plan, no matter if it was an Engineer, Talent Acquisition team, other People Leads, Group Leaders, or other Leaders from the business - they were all extremely helpful and open to share their knowledge and guide me during my first months here. This helped me avoid the stress associated with adapting to a new company and trust me – it is not standard in every company; I had that feeling that we are celebrating together the fact that I’ve joined the team, and it made me feel very special. THANK YOU for that.

What do you think Mondelēz stands out regarding other working environments you’ve experienced so far?

I need to say that the whole recruitment and onboarding process is outstanding. I’ve never experienced such a great vibe, guidance, and care for candidates before. MDLZ definitely stands out here.

I like that people are open to each other and trying something new. There is a lot of space for brainstorming and trying new solutions. I resonate very well with such a mindset.

What would you say to people considering joining us?

Career development and learning is very important to me, as I’m always looking for ways to challenge myself and grow. At Mondelēz I’ve had the opportunity to be part of strategic business projects, which is something I haven’t experienced at other FMCG companies.

What do you enjoy most about the work you do at Mondelēz?

I would say it’s a great idea for all people who want to work in an innovative, diverse, and respectful environment of passionate professionals. If they are also snack lovers like me, they should definitely proceed with their applications to Mondelēz International.
