What is exciting about your role & what does your role entitle?

I can honestly say that everything is exciting about my role! It gives me a great sense of pride and joy to work as a digital innovation manager, leading various projects on evaluating emerging technology solutions, such as Virtual Reality.

I lead various innovation test and learning projects across Europe. I work with stakeholders on various levels driving conversations around digital innovation.

What is the most exciting project that you have worked on?

The most exciting project I worked on was the planning of a Virtual Reality (VR) experience as a part of an event. My team was on a mission to design an immersion aspect at the event that would allow the participants to better understand Extended Reality (XR) technologies. We managed to run an hour-long event using virtual reality for 30+ participants!

What do you like about working at MDLZ?

It is a truly global organisation with offices and plants across the world, so I get to work with colleagues across time zones from different backgrounds and cultures.

What learning and capabilities programmes do you find most beneficial at MDLZ?

There are a lot of resources available at MDLZ for anyone who wish to upskill. The company has enabled me to complete my PMP certification. We also have various tools which allow me to work on a plan for my career development as well as personal growth.

How would you describe MDLZ as a future forward thinking organisation?

We always put our consumers at heart and stay up to the latest consumer/market trends. As I work in digital innovation, I see various programs involving the use of new technologies to deliver a better experience for our consumers.

How would you describe the work culture at Mondelēz International and within your function?

It’s a culture where everyone is treated with respect; MDLZ is an organisation that embraces diversity. Within my function, we are a bunch of innovators who are always full of energy!

What is your favourite brand?

It has to be Green & Black’s!!

Was there something you were surprised about when you started your role (or something that still surprises you now)?

I was definitely surprised about the number and variety of brands that are owned by Mondelez!
