BRINGING OUR PURPOSE TO LIFE

How we’re making snacking right.

Thursday, October 10, 2019

Snacking is on the rise and the lines between meals and snacks are beginning to blur. People don’t want to have to choose between snacking and eating right. That’s why our purpose is to empower people to snack right. We will lead the future of snacking around the world by offering the right snack, for the right moment, made the right way.

Providing the right snack means offering a wide range of delicious, high-quality snacks, as well as renovating and innovating our portfolio to satisfy consumers’ contemporary well-being needs. From Oreo to BelVita, we offer a variety of indulgent and wholesome snacks to meet your needs.

Providing the right snack for the right moment means we meet our consumers where they are physically and emotionally. We offer snacks in over 150 countries, helping our consumers to easily access the right snacks throughout their day, in addition to inspiring mindful snacking habits for a more satisfying snacking experience.

Providing the right snack made the right way means ensuring a sustainable supply of ingredients and environmental practices in our manufacturing, as well as taking a stand on important issues and doing business the right way. Sustainability programs such as Cocoa Life and Harmony Wheat help to ensure products are safely and sustainably sourced, produced, and delivered. The Mondelēz International Foundation promotes healthy lifestyles in at-risk communities around the world. And our employee volunteer program Impact4Good encourages employees to serve in their communities where they work and live.

We are celebrating our 7th year as a company and one year of living our purpose. Watch a chat between our CEO, Dirk Van de Put, and Haley Rushing, CEO and Co-founder of The Purpose Institute, where Dirk discussed why purpose matters and how we’re bringing our purpose to life.
