Talent Pipeline
At Mondelēz International, we are committed to being Talent Makers and Talent Magnets, intentionally developing, attracting, and retaining the Talent required for our future growth. This commitment is embedded in our succession planning and is designed to build a robust talent pipeline to support our long-term success.
Our leadership and people teams are responsible in facilitating an environment where employees feel supported and encouraged in their professional and personal development.
About 70% of our senior level placements are filled internally, demonstrating our commitment to building a strong pipeline of leaders across regions and business units.
Our people managers play a central role in enabling growth, providing ongoing career guidance and coaching to help employees reach their full potential. To support this, we equip both - managers and employees - with intuitive digital solutions that make it easier to build development plans, access upskilling opportunities, and navigate career pathways. A strong example is Match & Grow, our internal development marketplace, which connects talent to short-term, cross-functional experiences across regions. Through these gigs our colleagues expand their skills, broaden their networks, and gain exposure to new parts of the business. Over the past three years, this program has empowered hundreds of colleagues to accelerate their development and strengthen our enterprise capability.

We invest in the continued professional growth of our employees through the ingredients that craft their career through their own making, such as training, learning library offerings, development programs, on-the-job experiences, coaching, mentoring, and - for majority of employees in the United States - tuition reimbursement.
